It's traveling season. A hoodie works well for a laundry hamper when on the road. Tie up the hood (and sometimes the sleeves) and turn upside down. Stuff it full before heading off to the laundry facilities (or stuff it in your suitcase to avoid soiling the inside). Life made easier!

Your summer fertilizer spreader can work great on your sidewalks in winter. Place sand inside instead of fertilizer and run it up and down the walk. Be sure to adjust the spreader to accommodate for your sand's grain size. Safe sidewalks assured!

Got a tree? Challenge One: Rake the leaves! It's good exercise (and makes the yard look good). Got gutters? Challenge Two: Get out the stepladder and get to cleaning. Got kids? Challenge Three: All those extra fall clothes need laundered. That counts as exercise, too. Keep moving for your health! It's good for you!

When pouring from a container, you can keep it from burping by having the opening on the HIGH side. It seems counter-intuitive, but it allows better airflow into the carton or jug. Try it, and you'll see that it works!
