Your holiday theme doesn't have to be complex or expensive. Choose one color and repeat it throughout your home. Red, green, and white are traditional colors, but use what you like! Handtowels, tree ornaments, even ribbons tied around your sofa cushions. Have fun, make it pop, and live a little this year!

No one likes wrapping gifts at midnight on Christmas Eve!! Stock up on wrapping paper now. Set up a wrapping station in a seldom-used corner. A folding card table works well. Leave out your paper, scissors, and tape for quick, spur-of-the-moment wrapping opportunities. Make it fun, and after the holidays, you can pack it all away. Holiday wrapping chores complete ... and days early, too!!

If making extra money for the holidays is on your agenda, just remember that what you flash brings in the cash. Another way to say it is that the cash flows where a shopper's attention goes. If you can get people to NOTICE your product or service, they will BUY what you have to sell. Get out there. Get noticed. Make your product or service sparkle, because what shines is what will tempt shoppers to spend their dimes!!

If your holiday schedule is crammed full, try dropping off your wrapped presents early. Mark them with: Don't open until Christmas, and you have one less stress for the big day. Even if you will see the person on Christmas Day, you know your gift exchange is already checked off and done!!

Start saving those egg cartons. Recycle them into ornament storage containers. Smaller ornaments (easily lost or damaged!) will be safe and protected in the sturdy cartons. You can even decorate them with holiday-themed spray paint for extra fun!
