Kick healthy eating off by putting your juicer or blender on permanent display on your counter. (And I don't mean DISPLAY. Plan to put it to use!) Your healthy fruits and veggies will fall inside, and you can shortcut cleanup by letting your freshly washed appliance air dry out in the open!

January tends to be cold, and after the festivities of December, it's tempting to hibernate. DON'T DO IT. The short days and cold weather can bring on depression. Make plans with friends, go see your grandkids, just GET OUT THERE. (Besides, the world wants to see your face! Indulge the people who are used to seeing you out and around!)

Christmas is fun, but with only two days left in the year, it's time to think about how you plan to pack the holiday away. Plastic clothes hangers made great light spools. Use plastic cups in clear, covered bins to organize ornaments. PVC plumbing pipe (3") makes wonderful wrapping paper storage. That garden hose reel? Use it for your outdoor lights. Heavy-duty cardboard notched into a thick "H" shape also makes a great light storage option. Be creative, and you'll already be prepared when Christmas comes back around next year!

What?? You heard me right. Wrap your ceiling in your closet with your unused wrapping paper. Attach two bungee cords to the walls about three feet apart (from the back to the front wall) about 4 inches from the ceiling. Portable shelf achieved, and you'll be able to see each and every roll for when you need to wrap your next gift. Organizing done!!

It's time to pack those Christmas lights. This year, drop a bag of plastic clothespins in with your outdoor lights. Next year, when you put them up, you can attach them to your gutters or metal soffits with the clothespins. Fast, safe, and simple to remove. Job made easy!
