If water's not your thing, carry fruit, instead. You can even freeze sectioned oranges for a great, on-the-go snack!
In a pinch, a walnut can be used to remove minor scratch marks from furniture. Rub the meat over the scratch, then work the oil into the scratch with a soft cloth. Scratch gone! Repeat as needed, as the oil will eventually dry out.
Speaking to plants, that is. Line the bottom of your pots with sponges (old ones work well) and fill with dirt. The sponges will soak up water and keep the soil moist (and prevent excess water from weeping out the drain hole). Happy plants and easier for you, too!
A plastic scraper (or putty knife) and a hair dryer are all you need. The plastic scraper prevents scratches, and the heat from the hair dryer softens the adhesive enough to peel the stickers off. This works for both price tags and children's "fun" stickers. Some are easier than others, but you'll have them off in no time!
