Have a trusted friend send you an awesome email or text. Ask them to type awesome things about you for a full minute and hit send. Then do the same for them. You'll both feel better about yourselves.

Text a friend you can trust to reply. Say something positive and upbeat, perhaps a lighthearted joke. When they reply, keep your response light. Soon, you'll build a history of fun responses you can refer to on your phone anytime you need a lift.

Maybe you like to tell stories. Contact a school or library to volunteer for a children's story hour. Is cooking your thing? Offer to support a bake sale. You'll enjoy it, and you'll help people in the process.

Take a walk. If it's sunny, that's great. If it's raining, wear a raincoat. Forward movement is good for your soul. Every step you take will improve your view of your circumstances.

Be silly. Do something you wouldn't normally do with anyone else around. Dance. Sing. Draw silly pictures on the bathroom mirror after you get out of the shower. Do it in private so no one knows, and you'll have fun memories no one else shares.
