If you keep a daily calendar or reminder list on your electronic device, it may be time to clear the slate. Things in the far future can be moved to a Future list and set to ding you on the appropriate day. Current things are all you need on your daily list.

Not every load of clothes needs hot water. Wash in cold if you can to save energy. Modern washers are programmed to wash cleaner by washing cheaper. You may find your clothes look sparkly bright to you! Happy cleaning!

We're talking about electricity. Your power system has been under stress over the summer, and now's a good time to ensure it's still in working order. Trip your GFCI outlets (near water sources) by pressing the button (usually white). If you are in an older home and don't have GFCI outlets, an electrician can add them to your home. Ask for an estimate to make sure you get good value from your money.

Check to see if your children's school is reopening after the COVID-19 shutdown. If so, plan a welcome home party for the first day. Put together a loot bag (cool school supplies are okay) to give out on the way to school with a note inviting them to your after-school party. It can be as simple as a stop by the ice cream shop. They will look forward to it all day long.

Everyone seems to be going digital these days, including with our pictures. Show yours off with multiple fingers on your trackpad. Different operating systems will give different results, but try two fingers at a time, then three, and yes, even four. Spread them out, pull them together, or even move them side-to-side. Play and have fun!
