When's the last time you updated that wall of family photos by the stairs? Check your phone or your camera and have a few of this summer's favorites printed. Add (can we suggest ... replace?!?) them to the photo wall so that your summer memories can hang around for a few more months (pun intended).

The "lazy days of summer" are a real thing, but it's time to climb out of that hammock and revisit your fitness program! A bike ride, a 2-km walk, or a visit to the gym ... you can do this, and your waistline will thank you!!

When school starts and your teen drops the names of new friends, be inquisitive. Perhaps invite them over after school. If your child isn't driving, offer to ferry them to the movies or the mall. You'll get to know who your son or daughter associates with, and they will know you care!

The fruit is at its peak in late August! Fragrant, refreshing, and JUICY! Balled, sliced, or paired with cheese, do it up right, and you'll have the best of summer on your tongue with every bite!

You can still catch those August "Back-to-School" sales! Buy extra pens, pencils and highlighters while they are cheap so you have plenty for the year. A well-supplied kid is a well-educated kid (or at least we hope so!!).
