Ripening tomatoes can weigh down the stems. Be sure to give them extra support so they can ripen off the ground. A forked twig under the stem, or a plastic bottle upside down with a notch cut in the bottom. Be creative, and you will will enjoy your best tomatoes of the season!

An excellent way to help needy people who approach you at traffic lights is to prepare gallon plastic bags with nonperishbles to hand out. Crackers, granola bars, toothbrush and toothpaste in summer. Gloves, a comb and soap when the months turn cool. You can still bless others without handing out money, an angel in need!

Grandparents like enjoying their grands at theme parks, too! Check on renting a mobility scooter. Most big parks have them, and your parents will have as good a time as your children! (Plus grandparents make great babysitters if you need a little alone time!)

Maybe your upcoming road trip is just into the city, but traffic can still be rough. Download an app (like Waze) to avoid the most high-traffic areas. You might drive farther, but you will enjoy the day more! Easy being out all day long!

Summer can make us feel cooped up ... kids and toys in the house ... it never seems to end. Put some space between you and the kids' clutter. Pile everyone in the car and take a drive. When you return, you'll be able to see your surroundings in a new light, and the mess may well seem like less. Fresh eyes can put things in perspective!
