December is a great month to develop gratitude. Use a blank journal and write things you do well each day or tasks you successfully complete. At the end of each week, have a gratitude party! Invite someone or celebrate alone! You will feel better about yourself and create a positive mindset to begin the next week!

And they aren't reading, writing, and arithmetic! Today, we're looking at repurposing, reusing, and recycling. For the upcoming Christmas holiday, decorate with old greeting cards, repurpose holiday themed junk mail (You'll be surprised at how many ideas you will come up with!), and pull out last year's ornaments and garlands. If they are in good condition, they'll work perfectly! Have a recycle box set up for wrapping paper scraps and other items to recycle after the new year!

Well, Christmas stars, anyway. Make the most of the longer nights with fun activities like adding holiday lights to the house, visiting an ice rink, or sipping hot cocoa on the porch! Cozy times ahead!

You do know that you can switch your ceiling fans to blow warm air from the ceiling to the floor where you can enjoy it most. Hit the reverse switch and run it at its lowest speed. You likely won't feel the movement of the air, but you will feel how much warmer your feet are!

$100 for $85? Sure. Many places discount their gift cards just before the holiday season. They know if they can get a customer in to spend that $100 gift card, they'll likely more than make back the discounted amount. Plus, for you, CHEAPER, CHEAPER!! Stock up now for you and for giving away!
