Prepare a loot bag for your child's upcoming return to school. Encouraging notes, school supplies, fun snacks ... you choose what goes inside. It can be a backpack, a zippered pouch, or a new resealable lunch bag. Your child, grandchild, or neighbor will appreciate discovering what you've placed inside!

Bulb season will be here before you know it. Now's the time to decide which varieties to buy and plant early. Whether in the ground for spring or in a pot for indoor joy, just follow the directions for those you choose. Christmas Hyachinths need to be planted before mid September for the Christmas season. Water them and keep them in a dark, cool location for 12 weeks before bringing them out when they are about an inch-and-a-half tall.

A sunhat is always a good idea if you're outside in the middle of the day. On the trail, in the yard, or enjoying a picnic. A wide-brimmed hat will protect you from sunburn and keep the sun out of your eyes. Success all around!
